The Honor Flight Chicago fundraiser led by counselors Richard Gatz and Christine Belcastro exceeded the goal of $1,200 with donations from students and staff reading $1,860. The money will help fund an all-expenses paid trip for a veteran and someone of their choice to Washington D.C. where they can visit monumental sites. As a result of the fundraiser, teachers (left to right) Kanwer Sarkaria, Braden Kass, Daniel Vergo, Tom Hart allowed their beards to be shaved.
