Superstitions reign over October
Find a penny, pick it up; all day long, you’ll have good luck. If heads are down, it will make you frown; all day long, it’ll spread around. Allegedly, the superstition originates from the ancient tradition of gifting metal for good luck. As time passed, the head side of a penny was associated with good luck while tails was associated with evil. Today, people obey the rhyme to avoid any possible chances of unfortunate happenings. - Adam Jackson
