“Anyone but You” is the recent heart-throb movie released at the end of  Dec. 2023. Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) appear as a sour ex-fling. They have been forced to cross paths after their first date went horribly wrong.

Filmed in the picture-perfect Sydney, Australia, Bea’s sister and Ben’s best friend get married. Unfortunately, due to events caused by Bea’s helicopter parents and the location of the wedding, the two decide that pretending to be dating is the only option to make their exes jealous.

They must act in love in spite of their hatred towards each other.

Throughout the movie, feelings explode like fireworks, and as they find out, they are way more compatible than they first thought.

Viewers get nervous if their feelings will ever truly implode; both of them have barriers and communication problems, which led to their past relationships failing. The audience crosses their fingers that one of them announces their feelings.

The cinematography captures all the small moments between Bea and Ben while also showing the big picture of beautiful Sydney.

Since its release,  “Anyone But You” has taken social media by storm.

The Natashe Bedingfield sound, “Unwritten,” is featured in the film numerous times and has produced a whopping 362,300 posts on TikTok.

The majority of the post’s captions refer to the movie as “The best Rom-Com of the century.”

“Anyone but You” is all the rave, and for good reason. It will make viewers laugh, cry, and crave love just like Bea and Ben’s.

The funniest moments in the movie are followed by the steamy connection between Bea and Ben that makes the audience cry out for them to get together.

Sweeney and Powell’s movie is the perfect modern-day take on movies everyone loves.

“Anyone But You” is in the same wheelhouse as “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days” and “10 Things I Hate About You.” Making this picture the perfect girls-night-in movie.

This movie makes viewers feel as though they need to find someone who respects their “serenity song,” just like Bea did to Ben.
